Hey que tal amigos del blog, bueno hoy les dejamos lo ultimo de Simon Phillips y su proyecto llamado "PSP". Este trabajo se dio luego que Phillips y Palladino colaborarán en el disco de Saisse llamado "At World's Edge".
"Siempre he tenido un gran respeto y admiración por Simón y Pino como músicos, así que tocar con ellos en este trío es un sueño hecho realidad para mí ", admitió Saisse. "Hemos descubierto que tenemos una union increíble, y realmente se complementan mutuamente como músicos en vivo", añadió Phillips.
"Nos dimos cuenta que después de nuestros conciertos juntos, que lo que estamos haciendo musicalmente se siente muy especial", atestigua Palladino ", por lo que estamos comprometidos y entusiasmados por ver hasta qué punto podemos llegar ".
Phillips and Palladino recently joined forces on Saisse’s CD “At World’s Edge. It was that collaboration, which sparked the idea of incarnating the trio into a full-fledged working unit.
“I’ve always had such tremendous respect and admiration for Simon and Pino as musicians, so playing with them in this trio is a dream come true for me,” admitted Saisse. “We discovered that we have an incredible synergy, and really compliment each other as live musicians,” added Phillips.
“We realized after our live gigs together, that what we’re doing musically feels pretty special, “ attests Palladino, “so we’re committed and excited about seeing how far we can take it.”
Este show fue grabado en Japón en Febrero del 2009, el sonido es espectacular, en lo personal me gustó mucho este disco, totalmente recomendado para los fans de la bateria y los del jazz/Rock fusión!!!
